MESSAGE FROM THE WORSHIPFUL MASTER
Brethren,
Message from the East
I would like to take this time to thank all my officers on
our very favorable inspection that was read last month from our District Deputy,
Keith Clepper. Thanks for the hard work in giving our candidate a great degree.
I also would like to take this time to thank all the Past Masters who participated
in our Reconsecration. It was one of the most beautiful Grand Lodge ceremonies
that I have ever seen. It all blends in with the great traditions of Freemasonry.
Brothers, you ought to be proud of your Lodge.
Next what a fine job our Senior Warden, Kenneth Simmons, did to organize our
Mother’s Day Brunch on the BB Riverboat. It was a great success and fun for all.
And having it the day before Mother's Day gave the ladies two special days in a row.
We collected 26 pints of blood at our annual blood drive, which is better than last year,
but it still needs to improve in our First District. At least our Tyler, Frank Saresky, has
enough in reserve.
We had seven candidates participating in the One-Day Class at the Norwood Masonic
Temple: three who finished up their degree work and four who were new candidates.
Thanks to the officers and mentors who participated in the event.
Fraternally,
Ron Bluestein
